Dr. Alia Adel

Dr. Alia Adel Saleh is Professor of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, head of Digital EEG and Sleep Lab in Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine Hospital Cairo University Hospitals.
She graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2002, achieved a Master Degree in Neuropsychiatry in 2007 and Doctorate Degree in Psychiatry in 2013.
She shows particular interest in the field of sleep medicine and old age psychiatry.
She has published a number of researches in the field of cognitive assessment and dementia.
She was certified by the European Sleep Research Society (ESRS) as a clinical Sleep Medicine expert in a board exam in 2017.
She has been awarded the Okasha Award for the year 2019 in recognition of her distinguished scientific contributions in the field of Psychiatry and Academy of Medical Science Travel Grant in the same year. She has participated in a number of international conferences with oral and poster presentations including the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) and annual ESRS conferences.
